Cash/Asset Management Services

sample letterThe ‘Notice of Property Resolution’ from Cash/Asset Management Services says you are one of a limited number of international consumers in a cheque/merchandise incentive offer.

Your immediate response qualifies you to definitely receive an RCA Home Stereo (US$799.95), a cheque for US$2,356.95 or one of the other items listed. All you have to do is pay a ‘modest release fee’ of US$31.72.

Of course, the property you are most likely to ‘release’ is the Victorian Cubic Zirconia collection, or the ‘genuine’ diamond and garnet jewellery collection which are worth far less than the amount you’ve paid.

It appears to be a mail order company peddling cheap items.

An online search of the return address reveals that the American Fraudwatchers website has listed a number of dodgy companies registered at that same address.

E Global ran a similar scam last year from the same address and Crown Imports, also known as Crown Imperial Imports, also use the same address.

A similar scam letter doing the rounds from International Payments Centre also lists the same address. We don’t believe it is a coincidence.
